Join Carrie Sorenson, LMFT, for a live, 60-minute open Q&A. This month's topic is Intake Paperwork and Good Faith Estimates. Carrie opens with a brief introduction to the topic, and the rest of the hour is open discussion and your questions. Cameras are optional. This session is part of a 12-month series that follows the Launching Your Private Practice workshop, and you don't need to have attended the workshop to join. Answers are general education, not legal, tax, or billing advice. Rules vary by state, so check with your licensing board, CPA, or attorney about your own situation. Carrie Sorenson, LMFT, has spent more than 35 years supporting individuals, couples, families, and communities through meaningful change. Licensed in Oregon since 2001 and Washington since 2020, she has maintained a private counseling and coaching practice since 2003 and provided on-call crisis support within a large medical system for more than two decades. Her early work centered on high-risk and incarcerated youth and their families, in both direct-service and leadership roles. Over time, her practice expanded to include adults, couples, coaching, and professional workshops. Carrie feels deeply honored to be part of this profession and is especially passionate about welcoming, encouraging, and equipping newer clinicians as they grow into their own work.
