Description
Description Participants will engage in a guided art-based “Lineage Mapping” process to explore their own ancestry, family narratives, and cultural values, reflecting on how these influence their clinical work and worldview. ● Participants will practice adapting creative interventions to help clients explore cultural identity, intergenerational narratives, and community context, with attention to cultural humility and trauma-informed care principles. Francesca comes from a lineage of Italian Mexican healers, hard workers, and creative types. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed and Board Certified Creative Arts Therapist and certified Yoga Instructor. Her approach combines art therapy, nature engagement, spiritual connection, self compassion, cultural and ancestral awareness, mindfulness, and movement practices for embodied care. Francesca received her MPS in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she then went on to work in residential treatment centers, academic settings, lockup facilities, nature-based settings, private practice, and community spaces. Now on the west coast, Francesca enjoys a different pace and continues to grow her passion for creative modalities that service individual and collective growth, joy, and wellbeing.
