Objective One: Learn how somatic therapy can unintentionally cause harm to communities of color. -Objective Two: Learn how to provide accessible and culturally appropriate care to communities of color. Bio: Jayden Aubryn (they/them) is a Black, queer, ethically non-monogamous, non-binary psychotherapist in the State of Washington. As licensed clinical social worker, they maintain certifications in School Social Work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Integrated Health Care Provision. They are also a Certified Personal Trainer. They specialize in the holistic healing of complex trauma by integrating aspects of spiritual, sexual, physical, and mental health. They aim to decolonize therapy, increase accessibility, and mahe healing fun by using evidence-based ancestral practices like music, movement, art, and food.
