Description

This training introduces mental health professionals to a queer and intersectional framework for clinical supervision. Far beyond self-disclosure or identity alignment, this approach invites supervisors to critically examine how power, privilege, and systemic oppression shape both the supervisory relationship and broader therapeutic practice. Grounded in queer theory, feminist ethics, and intersectional praxis, this training offers a liberatory reimagining of supervision rooted in relational authenticity and cultural humility.

Learning objectives

  • Critically assess the impact of intersectional identities on supervision. -Apply queer-informed frameworks to navigate ethical challenges in supervision.
