Description

Psychedelic therapy is a complex field to navigate, where we have to pay particular attention to an ever-changing landscape of laws and regulations. We will look at ethical touch, how to co-create deeply informed consent, and use mindfulness as a tool to increase humility and reduce spiritual bypass.

Learning objectives

  • Learn about particular ethical considerations and concerns for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, including informed consent, navigating touch and how spiritual bypass can impact clinicians Understand the current legal landscape, both for therapists who want to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or work with psilocybin facilitation
