Description

This training zooms in on RSD as a nervous-system phenomenon, not a personality issue, and teaches therapists how to slow sessions down, reduce rupture, and support repair.

Learning objectives

  • Differentiate RSD from trauma responses, mood disorders, and personality pathology
  • Identify how RSD disrupts feedback, repair, and emotional safety in adult relationships
  • Apply regulation-first interventions that reduce escalation and shame
  • Coach couples to deliver feedback in ways that minimize RSD activation
