Bio: Britt Urban is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon who has nearly 16 years of experience working with both youth and adults in diverse contexts. Her professional focus has been supporting trauma survivors and other vulnerable populations, including refugees and immigrants, domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, and those struggling with mental health and substance use challenges. Her work as a mental health crisis responder in recent years has provided her with the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to individuals experiencing suicidal and/or homicidal ideation, and to de-escalate a variety of crisis situations.
