Objectives: -Identify the role of awareness of the uncertainty of one’s own knowledge in creating a foundation for respectful and effective engagement with people from a wide range of religious and spiritual traditions, perspectives, and experiences. -Apply a balanced approach that respects and incorporates spiritual concerns within treatment for psychosis, fostering improved professional-client understanding and creating new opportunities for recovery. Bio: Ron Unger LCSW is a therapist, and consultant specializing in CBT and related approaches for psychosis. For the past two decades he has also been an educator, reaching thousands of students through his seminars on CBT for psychosis, the intersection of trauma, dissociation and psychosis, and addressing spiritual and cultural issues within treatment for psychosis.
