His extensive clinical experience encompasses various settings, including the NHS, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, non-profit organizations, multiple college counseling centers, and private practice. His areas of expertise include clinical supervision, mood disorders, self-compassion, teaching, mindfulness, burnout, gender awareness and education. Dr. Rowell has presented on peripartum mental health, multicultural awareness, clinical supervision, and personality disorders at various local and national conferences. His primary therapeutic orientation is Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He holds the certification of a RAPPS (Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors) through the British Psychological Association (BPS).
