Description

Objectives Learn about particular ethical considerations and concerns for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, including informed consent, navigating touch and how spiritual bypass can impact clinicians Understand the current legal landscape, both for therapists who want to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or work with psilocybin facilitation Course Description: Psychedelic therapy is a complex field to navigate, where we have to pay particular attention to an ever-changing landscape of laws and regulations. We will look at ethical touch, how to co-create deeply informed consent, and use mindfulness as a tool to increase humility and reduce spiritual bypass. Bio: Greg Robillard, (he/him/his) LMFT, is a clinical supervisor and trauma therapist, who has been involved in psychedelic related psychotherapy since 2018. He provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psilocybin facilitation, trains students in both modalities, and hosts a psychedelic consultation group for practitioners within the Portland Integration Network.
