Dr. Alex Rowell is a practicing clinical psychologist in the state of Oregon, Illinois and in the UK. His extensive clinical experience encompasses various settings, including the NHS, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, non-profit organizations, multiple college counseling centers, and private practice. His areas of expertise include clinical supervision, mood disorders, self-compassion, teaching, mindfulness, burnout, gender awareness and education. He has presented on peripartum mental health, multicultural awareness, clinical supervision, and personality disorders at various local and national conferences. His primary therapeutic orientation is Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
