Presenter bio:
My name is Dr. Alex Rowell and I am practicing clinical psychologist in the state of Oregon. I have a wide range of clinical experiences that include working in various inpatient/outpatient hospitals, non-profit organizations, multiple college-counselling centers, and currently work virtually in private practice. My areas of interests include clinical supervision/supervising, mood disorders, self-compassion, teaching, mindfulness, burnout, and gender awareness and education. I have been fortunate enough to present on peripartum mental health, multicultural awareness, clinical supervision, and personality disorders at various conferences. I practice mainly from a Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy orientation. I am RAPPS (Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors) certified through the BPS (British Psychological Association).
